Policies & Rules

Check-in &
Check-out Times:

  • Campsites    — Check-in between 2:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.;
                               Check-out by 2:00 p.m.

  • Rental Units —  Check-in between 2:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.;
                               Check-out by 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
                               No checkins after 10:00 p.m. or before 9am

  • Half day charge for arrival prior to 2pm and half day charge for departure after 12 noon (rentals) or 2pm (campsites) depending on rental or campsite availability.

  • Campers 20 years and under must be with a parent or guardian to camp

Refund/Cancellation Policy

·         Notification must be made within 14 days prior to arrival to receive a refund, otherwise a credit will be issued for that year

·         Be sure of exact dates and times as no reduction will be made for late arrivals or early departures

·         No refunds for inclement weather

Quiet Hours

11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. - NJ Law

— All radios are to be turned off by 11pm and campfires out by 12:30am.  Please show consideration for your neighbors. NO LOUD MUSIC.

All campers need to be at their campsites by 11pm

Office Hours

Friday & Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am - 9:00pm

during the summer months

Security Gate

The gate closes when the office closes.  Tokens are available at the office for a nominal charge.  Gate closes early during spring and fall months.

Speed Limit/ Vehicles

10 MPH within the campground

Only fully licensed drivers may drive within the campground. All vehicles will be issued a car tag when registering which is to be hung from your rear view mirror at all times while on campground property.  Only registered/inspected vehicles will be permitted on the grounds.

All motor vehicle laws must be observed while on campground property.

No more than one car per campsite.  Additional cars must be parked in parking lot.

Daily Visitors/ Guests

All guests must register at the gate or office BEFORE entering the campground. Maximum of 6 people per campsite(2 adults and up to 4 children).  Daily guests must depart by 10:00pm.  No guests if number of people exceeds site maximum.

·   Children & Adults                                $8.00 per person/per day
 

 Campers are responsible for the registration, behavior and payment of their guests

Campfires/Firewood

Campfires are permitted unless under State of NJ restrictions due to dry weather conditions.

·   All campfires are to be out by 12:30am and not to be left unattended

·   Campfires must be contained within the fire ring provided.

·   Absolutely no cutting of trees or vegetation

·   No chainsaws

·   Firewood is available for purchases at the campground office.

·   Campfires are regulated by the State of NJ according to conditions/weather

·   Due to environmental considerations, no firewood is allowed to be brought into the campground

·   Do not move picnic tables or fire rings

Pool & Hot Tub

Open weekends from Memorial Day Weekend through late June, then daily through Labor Day Weekend.

  • Hours: 10:00am to 8:00pm based on lifeguard availability

  • Bathing suits only — NO exceptions No "cut-offs" or clothing

  • If necessary, a “white” T-shirt may be worn over the suit

  • Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult

  • Children ages 15 and under are not permitted in the hot tub or hot tub area

  • No smoking, glass container or pets within the pool area

  • Campers must watch their children at all times

  • Any individual using the pool/hot tub does so at his/her own risk.  The campground is not responsible for any personal injury or property damage that may result.

Kymer’s Campground reserves the right to close any swimming facilities at any time due to bad weather, mechanical problems, water testing, or any other safety reason they feel needed.

Lake Fishing

Lake is for fishing only and stocked each year.

  • No swimming in the lake
  • No fishing after dark
  • Life jackets must be worn at all times while on the lake

Bait (worms) is available for purchase at the campground store

Pets

Pets are permitted on the campground except for those staying in our cabin or trailer rentals based upon the following guidelines:

  • No Pitbulls, Doberman Pinchers, Chow-Chows, Rottweilers or Wolf-hybrids permitted. And, no mixed breeds of these dogs.
  • Must be kept on a leash and under control at all times
  • Must not be left unattended at the campsite. Barking dogs are annoying to others.
  • All pets must be licensed and have all required shots including rabies shots
  • Dung waste must be removed and disposed of properly

Children

Children age 17 and under permitted to remain on the campground while their parents are away must be assigned a guardian for discipline or judgment pertaining to first aid or any other emergency that may arise involving the child.

Bicycles/Skateboards/
Scooters

Children under the age of 17 must wear safety helmets - NJ State Law

  • No riding after dark

  • No motorized bikes, scooters, go carts, mini bikes, ATV's, etc.

Electric

All sites have 30 amp electrical outlets. Adapters are available for rent or purchase at the office

  • Patio lights are to be out by 11:00pm
  • No spotlights
  • No electric hot water heaters

Garbage / Recycling

Garbage MUST be put into plastic bags and deposited into the areas provided.

Household Garbage Only!  Bulk Garbage must be taken to the County Dump at your own expense.

 

 

REMEMBER TO RECYCLE

·      Plastic, Aluminum, Glass, etc. — No Separation Required

·      Newspapers, Magazines, etc.

 

 

Activities

Management must approve any activities other than regular camping

Alcohol

You must be 21 years or older to possess or consume alcohol on campground property.

Firearms

No firearms of any kind allowed, this includes BB, pellet & paintball guns.

NJ State Laws

  • No outside refrigerators

  • No Fireworks

  • No dumping of wastewater
    NJ Law prohibits the dumping of any wastewater other than into the provided dump station or into a holding tank to later be dumped into the dump station.  There is a $5,000 fine per incident. If the problem persists you may be asked to leave the campground permanently without any refund of fees paid.

 

We reserve the right to evict, without prior notice, anyone who creates a disturbance or nuisance, or deliberately breaks any of these or other campground rules/policies.  No repayment of fees will be made in the event of such an eviction (NJ State Assembly Fill #A2099).
